

Admin Assistant (Volunteer)
What is the volunteer job?
We are looking for somebody to join our small, friendly team to take on the part-time, flexible and home-based role of Administration Assistant.
What Will The Volunteer Job Involve?
General Admin
Update Admin Instruction Manual
Send emails
Create meeting links
Update all the teams’ Folder Layouts
Any other tasks that crop up.
Delete documents/folders outside the main team folders. eg: SMT
Tidy Team emails
Help streamline Meeting schedule
Volunteer Management
Update and manage the Document Tracker
Update the Data Management Tracker
Establish the Teams Overview Tracker
Remove access for old volunteers
Create/Edit/Delete Documents/Folders
Create "How to...." documents.
Volunteer Recruitment
Update the Resources and Filing Folders
Update the Choose a Volunteer Role Tracker
Manage elements of the Volunteer Application Tracker
Follow up admin questions with new volunteers
Create/Edit/Delete Documents/Folders
Create and manage Named Folders for new volunteers
File onboarding documents
Social Media Team
Update the Social Media Library from the Current Folder
Add Spotlight Folders for upcoming articles.
Who Should Apply?
Experience supporting others in a workplace environment.
Google Workspace (training given)
Required Skills
Well-written and well-spoken English is required.
Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
Proficiency in Google Drive (email, forms, sheets, docs, calendar)
Required Personal Attributes
Reliable.
Understands the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
Organisational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High attention to detail.
Other Requirements
A love of animals!
Computer and good internet connection.
Weekly online meeting to discuss ideas, progress and plan work.
