

Social Media Officer (Volunteer)
What is the Volunteer Role?
We are looking for somebody to join our small, friendly team to take on the part-time, flexible and home-based role of Social Media Officer.
Role is approximately 5 hours per week.
Create 1 Social Media post a week in keeping with our brand.
Research post ideas using our copyright-free sources
Design social media posts to educate and entertain on one of our topics like anti-hunting and anti conservation culling.
Participate in weekly online meetings.
Help the team with ideas for social media content.
Communicate progress with the Social Media Volunteer Coordinater
Who Should Apply?
A passion and knowledge on UK wildlife rights issues.
Understand how speciesism impacts UK wildlife
Interested in researching topics to uncover hidden angles.
Artistic flair
Ability to communicate challenging topics in a compelling way
What would be helpful
Canva experience
Artisitc experience or training. eg: graphic design
Training or experience in writing.
Stay up to date with social media trends and knowledge.
Personal Attributes
Organised
Enthusiastic
Reliable
Some Basics
Computer and good internet connection.
Computer proficient.
Weekly online meeting to discuss ideas, measure progress and plan ongoing volunteer tasks.
Ideally 5 hours availability per week
The right to reside in the UK to fulfill our insurance requirements.
