What is the Volunteer Job?

We are looking for somebody to join our small, friendly team to take on the part-time, flexible and home-based role of Social Media Specialist


What Will The Volunteer Job Involve?

  • Use creative ideas and outside the box thinking for thought provoking and factual social media posts.

  • Regularly post original content for the team to use.

  • Find and build connections with influencers and network hubs.

  • Use research to ensure posts are factual and educational.

  • A good understanding of copyright and how to work around it (training given)


Who Should Apply?

  • Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with social media channels, whether as an enthusiastic individual or in an organisation.

  • Less experienced applicants would need a resourceful nature and a willingness to push themselves to explore and learn new skills.

  • Canva (training given)

  • Google Workspace (training given)


Required Skills

  • Excellent content creation and writing skills.

  • Good communicator - verbal and written.

  • An understanding and sensitivity to what makes people tick.

  • Good at reaching out to people and building relationships.

Other Requirements

  • Computer and good internet connection.
